* Kitchen Safety. Learn how to properly use tools and kitchen appliances. Kitchen
cleanliness and safety with ingredients is also taught.
* Measurements. Learn how to read recipes and measure the ingredients. We will talk
about how to half and double recipes.
* Your child will bake an array of different baked goods. (Please note, your child will not
have direct access to the oven. They will mix their ingredients, prepare the pans, and
they will be placed in the oven by a staff member.
* Your child will learn decorating techniques such as icing, piping and Fondant flowers to
name a few. They will work toward completing a decorated cake by the end of the
week.

| Included in the tuition is an apron and bakers cap that will be sent home with your child at the end of the workshop. Kits are also available for $30 which include the tools they will be using in class. These kits are not needed for class but will give them the tools they need to continue their talent at home. Reserve your kit when you register for a class.
